5 Colouring Techniques using Watercolour Pencils with This Little Piggy #stampinup

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by today. Do you remember my challenge entries using the new stamp set, This Little Piggy?

I thought I would share with you how I use the Watercolour Pencils to colour 3 images from the This Little Piggy set, which is available from June 1st.

The Watercolour Pencils are available now though and it's a great way to add colour to your projects

Following from Charlotte's presentation at onstagelive in Amsterdam back in April, I have recreated the 5 Colouring Techniques Charlotte shared with everyone:

Stippling ~ applying tiny dots on your card which can be close together or far apart, great for adding texture
Hatching ~ drawing short parallel lines going in the same direction, great for adding shadows
Cross-Hatching ~ drawing parallel lines going in the same direction and then drawing on top with another set of parallel lines going the opposite direction
Back & Forth ~ most common technique which is basically colouring in a continuous back & forth motion
Scumbling ~ making continuous circular marks without lifting your colouring pencil, great for filling different areas with different colours

The Watercolour Pencils are easy to use and blends well. They work great with the Aqua Painters & Blender Pens

Check out the video below on how I used these 5 Colouring Techniques with This Little Piggy:

Try these 5 colouring techniques on your projects and I hope you will enjoy using the Watercolour Pencils even more.

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
