3 Mother's Day Projects & a Succulent VIDEO Tutorial

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by. We wanted to share 3 of our Mother's Day projects with you today so another post full of photos! There is a video tutorial at the end of the post, showing you how Jay made his succulent for the terrarium.

The main flower was created using the Succulent Framelits Dies. Use glycerine on kraft card to create a chamois leather look for the top layer and use the Paper Snips to distress the edges. Crumple Very Vanilla card before adding ink using Stamping Sponges for the mat.

  

The sentiment is from Oh So Succulent stamp set which fits nicely on the oval from Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.

We used a Sponge Dauber to apply Whisper White Craft ink and Bermuda Bay ink. The mask/stencil is retired but you can use others for the background on Kraft card. The bunch of flowers are from the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies using Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Very Vanilla cardstock. For the leaves, we used Cucumber Crush and the base card is Blushing Bride.

  

The sentiment is from Crazy About You stamp set on the stitched oval again but this time on top of the Layering Oval Framelit.

Colours used for the succulents are:

Melon Mambo cardstock with Whisper White Craft Ink Refill mixed with Night of Navy Ink Refill

Cucumber Crush cardstock with Whisper White Craft Ink Refill with Pacific Point Ink Refill

30th Birthday Present ~ Succulent Terrarium

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my Hexagonal Jumping Pop Up card for my sister's 30th birthday below and on our video tutorial ~ here

I just wanted to share a quick post full of photos of the Succulent Terrarium present I made to go with the card. 

    

I'm not great with presents at all and didn't know what else to get her so I thought I would make her something instead.

Card Making Class in Basingstoke ~ 4th April 2017

All levels of crafters are welcome, 18-80+

The class is £10 per person. Contact us to book your place in advance to avoid disappointment as there are limited space and we can prepare enough materials for everyone*

Hot drinks will be available and materials provided to share but please bring a basic craft kit including your favourite adhesives, scissors, bone folder and 3D foam pads. Feel free to bring Stamping Sponges, Craft Sheet or Acetate if you have them.
