Thanks for stopping by today. I'm back again with another challenge entry using the new stamp set This Little Piggy by Stampin' Up! I just can't get enough of these cute piggies!
It's a sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches #CC&S220 and below is this week's sketch to follow
For my card, I kept to the original layout but changed the shapes of the top banner and frame
Card base 14.8cm x 29.6cm
Stamp This Little Piggy using Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad on Whisper White
Use Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencils to colour the pig
Die cut with the circular Stitched Shapes Framelits
Use the outline die from Detailed Floral Thinlits for the 'clouds'
Colour with Pool Party using Aqua Painters and adhere using dimensionals
Stamp the trio of lips in Real Red and embellish with Real Red Enamel Shapes
I find it quite relaxing just colouring and blending, not realising how much time passes by. What's great about the Watercolour Pencils is that you can spend as much or as little time you want colouring! So you can also just do a quick outline and wash with the Aqua Painters if you prefer.
