Hi Everyone
Thank you for joining us today for the debut blog hop of the Creating Kindness Design Team. We are a group of demonstrators from around the world hoping to inspire you with our monthly blog hop, to create kindness through cardmaking and papercraft.
You may have arrived here from Marcy Denning in Canada or started here at Mitosu Crafts' blog with me Jay Soriano, from the UK
You will find a list at the end of this post to check your progress along the blog hop or simply click the 'Visit Next Blog' image to be taken to Jessie Holton's blog from Australia.
For our launch, we have created projects using our new favourites from the NEW Annual Catalogue by Stampin' Up! which launched today. Have you got your copy yet?
I used This Little Piggy stamp set (surprise, surprise) for my project and created a slider card! I first saw this fancy fold from Dawn Griffith and thought it would be fab for my card. My first effort below, follows Dawn's tutorial, also using the Birthday Blossoms for the sentiment.
I then used the coloured piggies I did from a previous post showing how I use the Watercolour Pencils with 5 colouring techniques. I changed the measurements for the middle / slider and added a card base so it can stand on its own as well as having more writing space.
Click on the products used below to be taken to our Online Shop for more details:
This Little Piggy
Watercolour Pencils
Aqua Painters
Stampin' Trimmer
It's such a fun card and the sentiment is great to brighten someone's day. Watch these cards in action in the video tutorial below. You too can enjoy making and sending this amazing slider card :)

UPDATE: I apologise that I have shared 1 wrong measurement for the last score line of the casing in the video at 2minutes.
Correct measurement for the LAST SCORE LINE should be made at 4 1/2"
What's great about this hop is that the other Design Team members have also uploaded video tutorials for you to enjoy. Click on one of the links below to be taken to YouTube. You can then continue the video hop by checking out the video description which contains the same links below.
