Pinewood Planks with Hometown Greetings for #GDP119

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and enjoying the holidays. It's Jay here with a quick creative share of my challenge entry for Global Design Project #GDP119

With the theme of 'Home for the Holidays', I decided to use Hometown Greetings Edgelits with Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Emerald Envy cardstock was die cut in circle first. I applied Tranquil Tide ink on one side of the embossing folder before running through the Big Shot again. I then sponged Emerald Envy and Tranquil Tide ink around the edges

I did a quick wash of Night of Navy ink with Aqua Painter on another piece of Whisper White cardstock and placed behind

I coloured the house and trees die cut using Stampin' Markers then used Paper Snips for the bottom edge to make it look more like snow

For the detail on the left, I used Copper Trim to create a bow then tied a Gold Ribbon in the middle with the excess pulled to left and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot

I used the Leaf Punch on Vellum, shaped with the Paper Snips and tucked under the bow

To finish the card, I used Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to accent some areas of the die cuts and leaves as well as flicking against the lid to create random splatters

Top 10 October Winners Blog Hop for Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights

Welcome to the Top 10 October Winners Blog Hop for Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up! Highlights

 You are currently at Mitosu Crafts with me Jay Soriano from the UK and I am very grateful to everyone that voted last month for my New Home Gift Box / Decor which enabled me to join the hop today

The theme is 'Changes' and keeping to my original project, I decided to create a card this time using products from the Seasonal Catalogue to show that they can be used all year round

I started with the shaving foam background panel using Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide. I then stamped the splatter design from Awesomely Artistic set at the bottom and sides of the panel with Tranquil Tide

I die cut the trees from Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies on Garden Green cardstock and used a dauber to highlight the edges with Whisper White Craft Ink. Whilst the ink was still wet, I added Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder on some areas and heat embossed

The house and small trees are from Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies and was die cut on Whisper White with Sahara Sand backing

I added Wood Textures DSP and Copper Trim before adhering with dimensionals. I also created a bow separately with the Copper Trim and Silver Ribbon

Finally, I used Brushwork Alphabet for the sentiment which was gold embossed on Vellum

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by today. Here is another shadow frame card using the Hometown Greetings Thinlits and Hearts Come Home Stamp. This is the 3rd shadow frame that we have shared and its a combination of the previous 2 versions

Die embossed on Basic Gray and Sahara Sand for the house backing

Real Red, Basic Gray and Sahara Sand Stampin' Markers to colour the doors and windows

Tuxedo Black for Santa and reindeers stamp

Gold Glimmer Paper for the stars

Base Card 8" x 6"

scored at 1", 2", 6" & 7"

2 x Panels 1" x 6"

Width of 3 Inserts: (just under) 4 1/2"

scored at 1/2" left and right side

Heights: 2 3/4", 4 5/8" & 3 3/4"
