Oh So Eclectic Alternative Floating Frame (2nd & 3rd Cards)

Hello, it's Jay here and I'm back to share the 2nd Oh So Eclectic card I created with the Floating Frame Technique.

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts and thanks for stopping by. Did you see our Facebook Live last Sunday where I showed how to create a card with the Floating Frame Technique with an alternative to Press and Seal? If not check it out HERE

I love this technique and really wanted to try it but didn't have Press and Seal in the flat. So I tried it using a lint roller refill!  It's cheap, easily available and most pet owners would have it already!

Anyways, I finished the 2nd card as promised using the middle die cut and here it is

I used the Whisper White backing card to die cut the frame as it was still usable after peeling it off. It's great that there's not much waste when doing the Floating Frame Technique card

I also stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set, Oh So Eclectic) and die cut with the smallest Rectangle Stitched Framelits. This was shortened by running through the Big Shot twice

The extra card idea I am sharing was made up of the backing from the middle frame and a die cut flower that wasn't use on the first 2 cards. It doesn't use the Floating Frame Technique but I really like how the first 2 inspired this card and made use of leftovers

I stamped on the cardbase in Berry Burst with the flower buds stamp design (well I think its flower buds and going with it)

I used the Sponging Technique for the middle rectangle stitched using Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green

The frame was adhered with dimensionals as well as the flower so they look like they're floating :)

Finished off the card with the Silver Baker's Twine (twisted with Whisper White) and sentiment in Tranquil Tide

Wonderful Romance for Paper Craft Crew #PCC328 #simplestamping

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts, thanks for stopping by today. It's Jay here with this week's Paper Craft Crew theme challenge #PCC328

It's all about #simplestamping this week and as we have been using the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set & Wonderful Floral Framelits in our cardmaking class, I decided to use the stamp set

I stamped the main image in Granny Apple Green and waited until the ink has dried to do the sponging with a dauber. I couldn't help adding a bit of sponging with Coastal Cabana ink but I still feel that this card is simple enough for a beginner with some assistance

I stamped the dotted design in Powder Pink then applied a trio of Fine Tip Glue randomly around the main design

I then stamped the sentiment on another piece of Whisper White cardstock in Blackberry Bliss ink. Using the Fine Tip Glue again on both ends to add the Dazzling Diamonds Stampin Glitter before adhering with dimensionals
