Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay here with my DT inspiration card for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #PCC323
I used the Home To Roost Cling Mount Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure for my project today. We recently ordered amazing new cardmaking products from the 2019 Spring / Summer catalogue and earned this set (and other items) for FREE. Using card sketches are a great way to get started on projects and we will be showing off this card on our display board for our local classes and demonstrations
I stamped the cockerel in Tranquil Tide on normal Whisper White cardstock then used the Aqua Painters to colour in Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide, Pumpkin Pie and Poppy Parade inks. The background colours are Soft Sea Foam and Crumb Cake
TIP: Use kitchen towels to get rid of excess water on the Aqua Painter to prevent over saturating the cardstock with water OR use Watercolour Paper
The coloured cockerel was die cut with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits as well as the Crumb Cake card layer. I stamped the reeds tone on tone and adhered on the cardbase. The Rectangle Stitched Framelits are in US sizes so I altered the cardbase dimensions to have an even border
The smaller Smoky Slate, is an altered size by running the cardstock through twice. The sentiment in Soft Suede was cut into pieces to follow the card sketch then finished off with the Metallic Pearls
