Embossed Snowflake Sentiment with Swirly Snowflake Border

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping, it's Barry here with another card using the Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set & Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies from the Autumn / Winter catalogue which is available in CLEAR Mount Bundle or WOOD Mount Bundle

The border could be a little tidier but hopefully you get the idea of how you can create a detailed border with the framelits

Soft Sky Cardbase 12" x 6"
4 x Whisper White for the Swirly Snowflakes 5 3/4" x 2"
Snip off 2 of the snowflakes on the left & right borders
Use Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder for the sentiment and die cut with the 2nd largest Layering Ovals Framelits Dies
Sponge Soft Sky around the edges of the sentiment topper
Finish off by applying Multipurpose Liquid Glue then Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter for added bling

We have shared quite a few projects using this bundle already and if you are looking for more inspirations, please check out Stampin' Up!'s video below

Stampin' with Marbled Background for #SIP110

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by, it's Jay here and I am sharing a project inspired by Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge #SIP110 I wanted to play along the colour challenge this week as I was so pleased that my entry for the last challenge (Pretty Kitty) was chosen as one of the Design Team's Pick!

I had so much fun with the embossing paste from a previous post (Double Embossed Card) that I wanted to use it again with the clouds mask from Pattern Party. I wasn't happy with how the clouds were blending too much with the Marbled Background so I used the Aqua Painter to add more colour and depth. Here is the final result...

Whisper White base card 10.5cm x 29cm tent fold
Black mat 10cm x 14cm
Whisper White layer 9.5cm x 13.5cm
Vellum 4cm x 14cm
Inks: Pacific Point, Real Red & Daffodil Delight

To create different shades of blue on the Marbled Background stamp, I applied Pacific Point with a Stamping Sponge first, followed by Stampin' Marker along the bolder lines of the design, huffing on the stamp before stamping on to Whisper White card

I added Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter after the Embossing Paste was applied. The marbling can still be seen through the paste which I quite liked

I used Aqua Painter to colour wash around the clouds then added more colour to the right side

I punched 2 balloons with the Balloon Bouquet Punch

I placed the smaller Daffodil Delight balloon underneath the Vellum then adhered the larger Real Red balloon on top. The vellum showed where I applied liquid glue so I ended up using Tear & Tape with Dazzling Diamond Glitter to hide these areas

To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment from Tabs for Everything Stamp Set in white, on black card

Products used:

Marbled Background CLEAR Mount Stamp

Embossing Paste

Pattern Party Decorative Masks

Palette Knives

Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter

Aqua Painters

Balloon Bouquet Punch

Vellum
