Painted Harvest for Paper Craft Crew Colour Challenge #PCC311

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay here with this week's Paper Craft Crew challenge and we have a fab colour inspiration for you #PCC311

The colours reminds me of Mardi Gras colours but I wanted to create something autumnal as the weather is getting colder and wet outside - definitely time for more layers!

A favourite of ours to demonstrate is the Painted Harvest stamp set with the 2 Step Stamping technique. It's so easy to create the detailed flower, I used it for the topper on my card idea with Mango Melody, Soft Suede and Early Espresso inks

I used the optional Neutrals colours for my card too with Early Espresso card layer, stamped tone on tone with Burlap background design. The splatter was achieved with Frost White Shimmer Paint and Aqua Painter brush

The Aqua Painter was handy for colouring the Whisper White Classic Weave & Sheer ribbons in Gorgeous Grape too which I wrapped on the card layer

The leaves were stamped tone on tone on Granny Apple Green cardstock then punched with the co-ordinating Leaf Punch

I added more metallic elements with the copper sprigs from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack and Sprig Punch. The Silver Mini Sequin Trim was looped in half, tied with the coloured sheer ribbon then tucked under the topper with mini glue dots

The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape on Sahara Sand cardstock then finished off with the silver sequins taken off from the trim

Spooky Cards for Halloween using Painted Harvest

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today. It's Jay here and I've been playing with the Painted Harvest Stamp Set again. I wanted a more spookier Halloween themed cards which can be used for invites and here are what I came up with

Quick and simple using Classic Stampin' Pads in Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake. I stamped the eyes twice to not have white edges and a richer shade of Cajun Craze. I used Basic Black Stampin' Marker to outline the eyes and create the pupils

Does this look like a scarecrow, as that's what I was aiming for?! Using the same colours as the previous project, I stamped the same images on Whisper White. I then used the Burlap Background Stamp Set on another piece of Whisper White card and started tearing it. I arranged the torn pieces on top and adhered them around the stamped images. To finish off, I took Cajun Craze Stampin' Marker and drawn the lines for the 'stitching' effect

This is my favourite of the 3 which is inspired by the film It. We haven't seen the remake yet but it's on our to do list this week. I used the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies to create a mask before stamping the eyes in Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black Marker. I used the oval mask again with Real Red Marker for the 2 lines on It's face. The nose was created by stamping the bottom acorn 3 times, joined and coloured again with Real Red Marker
