Party Animal Suite By Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today. We wanted to share more of our projects that we created for the display boards at the Stampin' Up! event - OnStage local using Party Animal Suite.

This card shows off how vibrant and fun the Party Animal Designer Series Papers are. It's simple and easy to do with the use of the Layering Squares Framelits. You just add the sentiment in the middle using the Layering Circles and embellish with a double bow.

Products used for both projects:

We love fancy fold cards and this one was inspired by Michelle Last. You can see Michelle's video tutorial HERE.

We have altered the measurements to fit the full height of the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits dies so the final card measures 15.3cm x 10.2cm

For the base card; Score at 1cm, die cut, score 1cm & score 9cm.
Stamp the sentiment on the banner before cutting out the balloons and strings from the base card.
Die cut another piece of card 15.3cm x 10cm, make sure the die is in the middle of the card to create 2 x 0.5cm tabs on each side.
Fold tabs and adhere to base card.
Adhere Party Animal DSP 14.8cm x 14.8cm to the back and 15.3cm x 10.2cm behind the front flap.
Adhere the frame and decorate the front.

You can find the Party Animal Suite from the Spring/Summer Catalogue on pages 4-5 and are available to purchase from our ONLINE SHOP 24/7

As it's Sale-A-Bration season, you will get a free item of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue for every £45 you spend. Click on the image below to check out the products you can get for FREE.

Class Projects and Samples

Hi All

Hope you're having a great weekend. I just wanted to share with you the 2 projects we made at our recent card making class in Basingstoke and the other samples we showed our attendees last Tuesday.

It was a challenging class as we made our own templates for future use before moving onto the actual projects but our ladies did very well.

We made a simple yet elegant card using the Love & Affection stamp set with the Layering Squares Framelits dies.

We then made this card using the Botanical Builder with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits dies. The die cuts are suspended on two supporting bar along the top and the bottom.

Here are other samples of our Diorama cards using various Stampin' Up! products which you can purchase from our ONLINE SHOP. The Stampin' Trimmer is a great tool for these kinds of cards as it allows you to cut and score.

Join us at our next class where we will be creating home decor on a canvas, more details to follow.

Thank you for stopping and happy stampin'

Happy Birthday Mum

Hi

Thanks for stopping by our blog, todays is a special card I made for my Mum for her birthday a few days ago.

Its a magic slider card and was my first time of making one. It's such a fun card to make and is definitely a fun card to receive especially if the person getting it has never seen a slider card before.

To make this card I have used several techniques and products as well as the new layering Squares Framelits Dies which are perfect for this style of card to create a perfect window opening. Other tools used was the Stamp-a-ma-jig, it's an essential tool needed to create the overlap. The sentiment is from the new Birthday Banners Stamp set and die cut from the Large Numbers Framelits Dies. I finished the card off with some Pearl Basic Jewels and string.  I have chosen to use the Mint Macaroon and Cucumber Crush colours from the Stampin' Up range, but Stampin' Up! have a wide selection of Colours to choose from if greens are not your thing.

YouTube has plenty of detailed videos if you want to get ideas of how its all put together. Just search Magic Slider Cards.

Please leave us a comment below if you like this card or if you have any question. All the products used to create this can be purchased from our 24/7 Online Shop

Thanks again for looking and we hope we have Inspired you to Create and Share something new.

Happy Crafting

Embossing with Botanical Builder Framelits

Hi All

Today I am sharing a card inspired by the colour challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches #178 using Pool Party, Calypso Coral & Pear Pizzazz.

It looks quite simple but I have used a few techniques to create this card.

I used the Layering Square Framelits and Botanical Builder Framelits to emboss the white card. I made my own shim using thick card to only emboss parts of the leaves but I ended up covering the area with the Calypso Coral flower so I didn't need to be fussy about it - at least I have a shim for next time :)

I then used scrap paper to mask around the square, sponging Pear Pizzazz on the bottom left and Pool Party on the top right. I used the embossed lines to add sparkles around the square frame, leaves and flower. I also edged the topper with sparkles.

I had small off cuts of Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz card stock which I added on the right side. I wanted more interest around the card so I added some iridescent sequins which my mum reminded me how much we have in our stash as she talked about adding sequins to her dress.

After looking at my card, I realised I haven't done any stampin'?! I ended up using the row of lines stamp from the Botanical Blooms set which matches the framelits. I didn't want to overpower the whole card so I used 2nd generation stamping to lighten the ink.

Thank you for stopping by and please comment below what you think of the card.
