One of the things all of my friends know about me: I'm a self-confessed non-cook. But – and this is thanks to Mary Berry and the blue-eyed silver-back - from time to time I like to bake. My mental trick is to see it not as cooking but as crafting food. In addition, one can put crafting and baking very well together. By that, one can even make muffin tops look really pretty.

Ok, maybe not the kind of muffin tops you get after eating the muffins. I’m talking about small, hand-crafted decoration on the muffins. I usually do that by stamping and punching the sentiment and then sticking them on a toothpick or longer wooden skewers with a coloured layer by using a hot glue gun.

The sentiments I used can be bought in March (and only in March!) - I really love them! especially since the sentiments work so well together, front and back belong to each other. 

The muffins needed the extra chocolate on top that wasn’t mentioned in the recipe as sprinkles on the top because adulting is hard. That is also the reason I didn’t make 12 small but 6 big muffins. I like my muffins like I like my men: big and sweet ☺

Forever Lovely #simplestamping Sunday

Hello again

Thank you for stopping by to have a look at what I created for our #simplestamping Sunday project. 

This week I used the New Forever Lovely stamp set which will be available to purchase in January when the new Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion starts.

It's a lovely stamp and is also available in a bundle which comes with coordinating dies if you wanted to take your card making to another level. However. it's a great stamp set on its own and perfect for simple stamping with just a few items, Paper, Ink & Stamps.

#simplestamping Sunday 9th December 2018

Hello

Thank you for joining me again for another edition of #simplestamping Sunday. If you didn't catch the facebook live you can find it below for you to watch again & again (lol)

Well, this week's simple project used the gorgeous Peaceful Noel Stamp Set which is sadly retiring in a few weeks or until the stock has all gone, whichever comes first. If you want to look at all the items leaving us, click here. (some are discounted with up to 40% off) 

As well as the stamp set you will only need a few extra items, but as this project is aimed towards simple stamping you won't need much. It's basically stamps, ink & paper and after you have a few of the basics it will become much easier.
