Celebrating with a Party Animal Suite Project to Thank You All

Hi Everyone

We had an overwhelming response with the Hexagonal Base Pop Up card using the Window Shopping Bundle and we wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all that liked, commented and watched our video.

With that in mind, it's time to celebrate and what better way than to share a Hexagonal Base Pop Up card from our Party Animal Suite display!

This is the first Hexagonal Base Pop Up card we made. You too can create this project with the Balloon Adventures Bundle - 144708 which is available from our Online Shop along with all current Stampin' Up!® products. Click on any of the Item Codes throughout the blog to be taken to that specific product page for more information.

For the base:

Start with Emerald Envy card measuring 16cm x 10.5cm (6⅜" x 4")

Place Portrait on Score Board - Score at 3cm & 7.5cm (1⅛" & 2⅞")

Turn 90° - Score on top section at 1cm, 6cm & 11cm which will create your Panels (⅜", 2⅜" & 4⅜")

Score bottom section at 3.5cm & 13.5cm which will be your Topper Support (1⅜" & 5⅜)

Do the same for a 2nd card and cut excess areas as shown in the diagram below

Bone fold all score lines and place both cards back to back

Join using the 1cm x 3cm tabs (⅜" x 1⅛")

Feed the 'Base' and 'Topper Support' sections inside

Adhere 'Topper Support' from both cards only

It's not as complicated as it looks but alternatively you can use the Window Box Thinlits Dies - 142762 and follow our video to easily make the base.

As you can see, I cut out the top frame of the Pop Up die cut and added even more balloons using the same die as well as the Balloon Bouquet Punch - 140609 for the topper. I also die cut 4 more in Emerald Envy and snipped into them to decorate the side panels.

What I love about this project is that you can send it as a card OR it can also be a table decoration at your own party. The base is big enough to hold treats inside and even battery operated tealights!

5 More Cards from Our Party Animal Suite Display

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today. We are sharing with you 5 more projects we made for the Party Animal Suite display boards at the Stampin' Up! event - OnsStage local.

We love fancy fold, kinetic cards so decided to make a Twist Pop-Up Panel card! It looks simple at the front which hides a WOW factor that  any recipient will love.

The middle panels were created by folding the card before die cutting, making sure the edges doesn't touch the sides of the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits.

Party Animal A4 Cardstock Pack - 142740

A simple looking card with a few different techniques used.

Use the Stamping Sponges - 141337 for the edges of the Crumb Cake card. We find a circular motion starting from off the card works great for blending in.

Make sure you use an Embossing Buddy - 103803 after sponging the edges.

Use White Stampin' Emboss Powder - 109132 for the balloons and sentiment.

Colour with the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush - 141898, adding the splatters by loading the tip and tap against your index finger. Be careful as the splatter can go everywhere!

Stamps are great for making your own backgrounds which we did for this card.
Stamp the balloons in Pacific Point, Crushed Curry and Emerald Envy on Whisper White card to match the colours on the Party Animal Designer Series Paper - 142738 along the middle.
Add a hint of sparkle to the Emerald Envy Ribbon Taffeta - 142742 with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush - 141897.
Hang the balloon Party Animal Embellishment - 142775 with Baker's Twine - 124262.
Stamp the sentiment before using the Layering Ovals Framelits - 141706.

We applied Crushed Curry then Pacific Point with the Sponge Brayers - 141714 and created the middle green colour where the 2 overlapped. We used the Balloon Pop-Up as a topper for this card and adhered with foam pads. You can easily step-up this card by adding Window Sheets - 142314 behind the topper and turn it into a Shaker Card with the Foam Adhesive Strips - 141825

Finally, a card using 2nd Generation Technique for the confetti. We also used the Sponge Brayers to colour Whisper White card before die cutting the balloons to have an ombre look. The sentiment was embossed with the Copper Stamping' Emboss Powder - 141636

Party Animal Suite By Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today. We wanted to share more of our projects that we created for the display boards at the Stampin' Up! event - OnStage local using Party Animal Suite.

This card shows off how vibrant and fun the Party Animal Designer Series Papers are. It's simple and easy to do with the use of the Layering Squares Framelits. You just add the sentiment in the middle using the Layering Circles and embellish with a double bow.

We love fancy fold cards and this one was inspired by Michelle Last. You can see Michelle's video tutorial HERE.

We have altered the measurements to fit the full height of the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits dies so the final card measures 15.3cm x 10.2cm

For the base card; Score at 1cm, die cut, score 1cm & score 9cm.

Stamp the sentiment on the banner before cutting out the balloons and strings from the base card.

Die cut another piece of card 15.3cm x 10cm, make sure the die is in the middle of the card to create 2 x 0.5cm tabs on each side.

Fold tabs and adhere to base card.

Adhere Party Animal DSP 14.8cm x 14.8cm to the back and 15.3cm x 10.2cm behind the front flap.

Adhere the frame and decorate the front.
