Subtle Flourish Thinlits for Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #PCC313

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge and we have a Card Sketch for you this week #PCC313

 

I used an older favourite, Flourish Thinlits from the Annual Catalogue for my card idea with some new items from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue

I love the Subtle Dynamic TIEF as it adds interest to the card base, although it is hard to capture on the photos, the texture looks linen like in person on this Fresh Fig card base

Add splatters of Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint and leave to dry, continuing on with the other elements for the card sketch

The ovals were die cut then the inner oval was embossed with the Corrugated DTIEF. I also die cut the flourish in Petal Pink, intertwining the die cut around the oval frame and the two leaves in Soft Sea Foam

The Polka Dot Tulle was adhered with Tear & Tape then added the sentiment from Wood Words on top with dimensionals. The unusual banner was achieved by stamping the sentiment in Fresh Fig towards the top of a Powder Pink card, then I used the Everyday Label Punch

Once the shimmer paint was dry, I stuck the main elements down then finished off with the Mint Macaron Twine bow

Creating Kindness Blog Hop ~ Mixed Media

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here sharing my project for  the Creating Kindness blog hop with the theme of Mixed Media or Florals

So onto my project in which I combined both themes and created this DL size card using a mixture of products and techniques

I embossed the Crumb Cake topper with the background design from Stitched Labels Framelits before adding Shimmery Paste (coloured with Garden Green ink) through the brick Decorative Mask

I created the frame in Very Vanilla and Whisper White by die cutting the Stitched Oval through the Stitched Labels Frame

I added the Polka Dot Tulle and Burlap Ribbon before arranging the die cut flowers from Flourish Thinlits dies. There are a lot of die cutting for this card to build up the flowers by snipping and shaping the die cuts. The clear faceted gems were then added to each flowers

I then added the Polka Dot Tulle bow and finished with the white embossed sentiment from Stitched All Around stamp set
