Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here sharing my project for the Creating Kindness blog hop with the theme of Mixed Media or Florals
It's an exciting month for us as Charlet Mallett and Sara Levin have joined the Design Team. We also have Valerie Perlin as our special guest designer this month. Please join us in welcoming these talented ladies and comment on their blogs. You can find all the blog links at the end of this post
So onto my project in which I combined both themes and created this DL size card using a mixture of products and techniques
I embossed the Crumb Cake topper with the background design from Stitched Labels Framelits before adding Shimmery Paste (coloured with Garden Green ink) through the brick Decorative Mask
I created the frame in Very Vanilla and Whisper White by die cutting the Stitched Oval through the Stitched Labels Frame
I added the Polka Dot Tulle and Burlap Ribbon before arranging the die cut flowers from Flourish Thinlits dies. There are a lot of die cutting for this card to build up the flowers by snipping and shaping the die cuts. The clear faceted gems were then added to each flowers
I then added the Polka Dot Tulle bow and finished with the white embossed sentiment from Stitched All Around stamp set

ReplyDeleteFantastic project Jay! Really beautiful. It’s so cool to see this unique size. I’ve been seeing this a lot with stampers from the UK, is this a standard card size in your market?
ReplyDeleteThank you,Jay
ReplyDeleteThe Burlap Ribbon was a great idea, but maybe the color...should be lighter. This is my opinion though.I shared a link to this project on Upmixed.
