Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights June 2017 #stampinup

Hi Everyone

 The theme for June is 'Baby' but we do not have the lovely Moon Baby stamp or the cute A Little Wild stamp. So instead I have chosen to use the Sweet Cupcake Photopolymer Stamp with the Balloon Bouquet Punch to create this fun slider card.

The main sentiment is actually a combination of 2 from the Sweet Cupcake set.

The basis of the card is the same as my previous slider card using This Little Piggy ~ HERE but this time, you pull up the ribbon to reveal the sentiment and cupcake image. I do prefer this orientation as you can choose to display either images to display.

Inks used: Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede

Revealed sentiment from Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp which co-ordinates with the Balloon Bouquet Punch

I think this card would also be great as a pregnancy announcement card too. Keep the suspense by changing the colour of the slider card to a more neutral colour like Sahara Sand or Crumb Cake perhaps.

I used This Little Piggy stamp set (surprise, surprise) for my project and created a slider card! I first saw this fancy fold from Dawn Griffith and thought it would be fab for my card. My first effort below, follows Dawn's tutorial, also using the Birthday Blossoms for the sentiment.

I then used the coloured piggies I did from a previous post showing how I use the Watercolour Pencils with 5 colouring techniques. I changed the measurements for the middle / slider and added a card base so it can stand on its own as well as having more writing space.

UPDATE: I apologise that I have shared 1 wrong measurement for the last score line of the casing in the video at 2minutes.

Correct measurement for the LAST SCORE LINE should be made at  4 1/2"
