Truly Tailored for Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #PCC281

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts and thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here and as it's Wednesday, I'm here to share my project idea for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #PCC281

I have used the Truly Tailored CLEAR Mount Stamp Set and the matching Tailored Tag Punch for my card today, which can be ordered together as a Bundle saving you 10%

If you find it a challenge to create Male / Guy Cards then this Bundle is ideal for you! There are 10 rubber stamps with a mixture of images and sentiments. Part of the True Gentleman Suite on pages 44-45 of the 2018 Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue, there you will also find other products that co-ordinates well with the Bundle to help your crafting

I scored the Basic Gray cardbase using the Simply Scored tool before adhering the Whisper White mat. I then stamped the sentiment on the Sahara Sand layer with Night of Navy ink with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect aligning

I used the Tailored Tag on Tranquil Tide cardstock and I also created the bow including the hexagon centre using the same punch!

You will need to punch out 2 shapes for each side which you will curl in half with the help of a Bone Folder. Another punched shape is re-inserted into the side of the punch to create the hexagon piece. To finish the card, I made a triple bow with Basic Black Baker's Twine without the tail ends and stuck on with a Mini Glue Dot

Barry's Gift Boxes for Jay's Birthday Presents

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today, it's Barry here. You may already know that it was Jay's birthday yesterday and thank you to everyone that wished him well. I wanted to try something different and step out of my comfort zone by creating handmade gift boxes / packaging for all of his presents. I think I can honestly say that I am now addictive to making boxes LOL

The box below is a flip top box containing a box of sweets and measures

4 1/4" x 6 1/8" x 1 1/8"

I used 2 small velcro dots to keep the box sealed and the following Stampin' Up! products:

Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper 144125

Delicate White Doilies 141701

Island Indigo Ombre Ribbon 144233

I also used some products from the Autumn / Winter Catalogue launching on 1st September 2017 Below are the product names and numbers if you would like to place an order with us

Painted Harvest Bundle 146021

Leaf Punch 144667

Painted Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set 144783

Merry Little Labels Bundle CLEAR 146030

Merry Little Labels CLEAR Mount Stamp Set 144798

Everyday Label Punch 144668

The next box I created is relatively simple and is a cube to contain a lovely Lush bath bomb and measures

3 3/8" x 3 1/4" x 3 3/8"

The idea from this box came about from a recent crafting play date with other Royal Stampers in Queen Pip's team. Sara from Crafty Little Minx had a candle box from a shop and wanted to recreate it so the challenge was on! The DSP on this box finishes the box off really well and makes it more special. The box is a closed box with a designer series paper lid as you can see from the pictures below

I have used the following products

Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper 144185

Emerald Envy Cardstock 141420

Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven Ribbon 144135

I've seen many versions of the faceted box below on the internet and wanted to give it a try. I was able to locate a template with no measurements so my next challenge was to work out how it was constructed and adjust the measurements to fit another Lush bath bomb. The box is 3 1/4" square with faceted sides

Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper 144185

Sweet Cupcake Photopolymer Stamp Set 141498

Cupcake Cutout Framelits 141474

Classic Label Punch 141491

Teeny Tiny Sentiments CLEAR Mount Stamp Set 120024

The last box contained the main present and was a joint Birthday/Christmas present so I wanted the box to reflect this on the design. The present was already in an elongated box

12 9/16" x 2 11/16" x 1 1/4"

which I couldn't fit on a single A4 or 12"x12" cardstock. I ended up creating 2 small boxes that interlocks within each other

The Christmas box measures 7" x 2 13/16" x 1 3/8"

The Birthday box measures 7" x 2 3/4" x 1 5/16"

Products used

Retired Christmas DSP

Merry Little Labels CLEAR Mount Stamp Set 144798 (available from 1st September)

Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper 144125

Stitched Shapes Framelits 145372

Cool Treats Photopolymer Stamp Set 142982

I have used both the Stampin' Trimmer 129722 and Simply Scored Scoring Tool 122334 on all of the boxes above. There is another packaging which you can see from the first photo that I will blog with Jay's birthday card soon

I also plan to make video tutorials on some of these boxes if there is enough interest, please leave a comment below which one you are interested in
