Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. Barry and I are still cruising along Norway but I had to join the Creative Circle blog hop with the theme of New Catalogue Debut / Favourites from 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalogue
You may have arrived here from Liz Holloway Design blog if your following the hop already. If you started here please check out all the Design Team's creations from the links at the the bottom of this post
For my projects today I chose to use the new Painted Glass Stamp Set & Stained Glass Thinlits Bundle from the Graceful Glass Suite on pages 164-165
The 1st set of cards were posted to our customers to let them know of the launch of the new Annual Catalogue. Barry did a similar design using the Stained Glass technique which I CASEd and made simpler
I die cut the Whisper White layer and used it as a guide for the Vellum behind. I did use Liquid Multipurpose Glue but using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets will make this card even faster to create
Once the Vellum was adhered at the back, I coloured it with Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape and Lovely Lipstick using Aqua Painters
These colours were either added as part of Stampin' Up!'s recent colour revamp or from the new 2018-2020 In Color Collection
The sentiment was then stamped with Tuxedo Black using the Stamparatus to ensure they are all on the same place
For my 2nd card idea using the Painted Glass bundle I wanted to achieve the Stained Glass look without the Vellum underneath
I die cut the rectangular design in Basic Black card and adhered straight onWhisper White card. I then took the Aqua Painter and coloured lightly with Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick
Layered on top of another Basic Black card then wrapping the Black Cord before adhering the topper on the cardbase. To add a little more interest, I added Vellum which were die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and coloured the roses in Blueberry Bushel and Granny Apple Green
The sentiment was white embossed on black card and adhered with dimensionals, adding another Vellum piece in between
That's it from me today. Make a wishlist as you hop along and don't forget to come back and order your Stampin' Up! craft supplies from Mitosu Crafts UK Online Shop or from your local Creative Circle Design Team
Thanks again for stopping. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
