Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts from the UK with me Jay Soriano. Thanks for stopping by for the Creative Circle Blog Hop with the theme of Spring Fling. You can continue along the hop from the full list of the Design Team's blogs at the end of this post
For my project today, I created a floral wreath card design using the Colourful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp and Seasonal Layers Thinlits Bundle from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue
Very Vanilla Cardbase 29.2cm x 14.6cm
Powder Pink mat 13.3cm x 13.3cm
Whisper White layer 12.7cm x 12.7cm
Wreath Diameter 9.5cm
Very Vanilla Cardbase 11 1/2" x 5 3/4"
Powder Pink mat 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White layer 5" x 5"
Wreath Diameter 3 3/4"
To create the wreath, I placed the branch stamp with a slight curve on the acrylic block, then stamped around the Whisper White card in 1st and 2nd Generation ink
I used the Sponge Brayers to apply Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy inks, creating an ombre effect in the process. I wanted darker edges so I applied Tranquil Tide ink after with Stamping Sponges
The spray of flowers were stamped in Soft Sky and Powder Pink and the birds from High Tide stamp set in Smoky Slate
The adirondack chair was die cut on Wood Textures DSP twice, off set for a slight highlight and adhered on the topper
The flowers were die cut on Whisper White card, coloured with Berry Burst and Flirty Flamingo with the Blender Pens. I also die cut the flowers in Pear Pizzazz card, cut into 3 to use as leaves for the wreath
The sentiment was stamped in the middle using Tuxedo Memento ink, added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels on each flowers and Clear Wink of Stella on all the leaves

Oh my, absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the design and the colors you chose.
ReplyDeleteJay you are master of the color doubled of an incredible creator! This card is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow! Breathtaking card design Jay. Love the wreath focal point and ink blended background - such stunning colours throughout. :)
ReplyDeleteStunning - your creativity is inspiring. Xx
ReplyDeleteJay what a stunning Spring card. Very inspiring. I love the bold green on the white layer and how you managed to work that branch around in a circular motion. Stamping it 1st and 2nd generation really works well and doesn't overtake the card. The little Adrionack chair really fits in nicely. I'm inspired to use this layout for an 80th birthday coming up soon. It's so meaningful. Thanks for sharing your amazing talents.
