Creating Kindness Blog Hop ~ Inspire
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK. It's Jay Soriano here for the Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop with Special Guest Brian King of Stamp with Brian
We all have created projects for you to enjoy with the theme of INSPIRE. For me, nature and Stampin' Up! products inspires my creativity and for my project today I decided to use Sheltering Tree with Brusho Crystal Colours
I love working with the watercolour pigments that is the Brusho Crystal Colours from the 2018 Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue. They are available as a pack of 5 pots with the following colours: Brilliant Red, Gamboge (Orange), Moss Green, Prussian Blue & Yellow, great for backgrounds and colouring
I used 5 different Brusho techniques for my project on Watercolour Paper:
Spritz & Sprinkle ~ spray watercolour paper with water then sprinkle brusho crystals, let the water soak in the paper for less colour spread
Sprinkle & Spray ~ sprinkle brusho crystals on watercolour paper then spritz with water, more water spreads the colour more
Sprinkle to Stamp & Spray ~ sprinkle brusho crystal straight to stamp then spray with water
Brush Stamp & Sprinkle ~
Brusho Paint ~ sprinkle brusho on acrylic block and add water to use as watercolour paint
Very Vanilla Cardbase 21cm x 14.5cm
Basic Black Mat 8.2cm x 12.4cm
Watercolour Paper 7.6cm x 11.8cm

Pretty Kitty for Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #PCC282
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts with me Jay Soriano. It's time for the Paper Craft Crew challenge and we have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe for you this week #PCC282. If your new to this type of challenge, you just need to choose any 3 elements from the image below and include them on your project. You can then enter it at Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog
I went for the middle down line to inspire my project using Pretty Kitty stamp set from the 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue
Pear Pizzazz Card Base 29cm x 10.5cm
Vellum 14cm x 6cm
Wild Wasabi layer 12cm x 4.3cm
Sahara Sand mat 10.6cm x 7.6cm
Whisper White topper 10cm x 7cm
I used the masking technique to seamlessly create one image using 3 stamps. This was achieved by stamping on sticky notes which were fussy cut after. Stamp the main image on the Whisper White topper then cover with the sticky note mask before stamping the next image. The created image was then coloured with Stampin' Blends
