International Project Highlights

Hi Everyone

Welcome to our International Project Highlights using Stampin' Up! products. We have all created this gallery of projects for you to be inspired by! We would love it if you could visit every one of our blogs and see a close up of our projects.

So here is my project with the Wherever You Go stamp set which is great for male orientated designs and can be for different occasions.

For the main picture I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig and Marker to Stamp technique
Added a horizon line with a ruler and used the Sponge Daubers for the clouds as well as for darkening the edges
The chevrons were achieved using the Triple Banner Punch
The compass was heat embossed with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder
Before adhering all the elements, the Very Vanilla base card was embossed with the Brick Wall and stamped with Gorgeous Grunge

CAS Colours and Sketches #186

UPDATE: So pleased this card got a special mention at Global Design Project

#GDPspecialmention, #GDP048

Hi All

It's my 2nd week at CAS Colours & Sketches and here is my card for challenge #186

I have taken the sketch from CC&S#186 and theme from Tanja Kolar's card at Global Design Project #GDP048 for inspirations on this card.

I used Number of Years stamp set with the matching Large Numbers dies as the focal point which is covered in glitter by using Heat & Stick embossing powder.

The 2" and 1" banners were so easy to achieve with the Triple Banner Punch, which I then pierced to do a bit of hand sewing with Gold Metallic Thread. The balloon and sentiments are from the Birthday Banners stamp set.

Check out the Design Team's cards and play along.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin'

Banner Punch With Honeycomb Hello

Hi All

Just a quick post as I would like to share a masculine card using the sketch from Can You Case It? (CYCI#82) as a starting point. I ended up changing it slightly but I hope it's still ok to submit.

I used the off cut from the Banner Punch as a guide to cut the other end to form the arrows / shield to match the shapes on the embossing folder.

I also stamped the sentiment 2 ways so the card can either be portrait or landscape!

Thanks for looking and happy stampin'
