OSAT Blog Hop ~ Silver Bells snd Sea Shells

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. I'm back again with the OSAT Design Team for our final blog hop of the year with a Christmas theme

If you're following the hop already, you will have arrived here from One Stampin' Mother Tucker by Andrea Tracy-Tucker. If you started here, make sure to check out all the Design Team's blog at the end of the post for more Christmas themed project ideas

For my card, I used the Snowflake Sentiment stamp and Swirly Snowflakes thinlits

The card base is actually the Whisper White which you can see through the die cuts. I die cut 2 snowflake strips which were adhered to the back of border. This black frame was achieved using the Stampin' Trimmer

I added the black ribbon then adhered the gold embossed sentiment with dimensionals. Finishing off with the gold glimmer snowflake

I normally create a co-ordinating project but ran out of time. Luckily I had a spare candle box which I designed for our local class but did not use

This box measures 2 3/4" x 3 15/16" x 2 3/4" and I used the Detailed Poinsettia thinlits to decorate the sides with a Pear Pizzazz ribbon

The sentiment is from the 'Christmas Wishes' design and was achieved using Marker To Stamp technique. I then used a square Stitched Framelit to die cut the sentiment

For more ideas and papercraft inspirations, make sure you hop all the way around to all the Design Team's blog from the list below

Thanks again for stopping. Until next time, BYEEEEE!

Detailed Poinsettia for Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Embossing

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here with the Creating Kindness blog hop and our Special Guest Designer this month is the talented Dena Albee of Pocket Full of Stamps

The Design Team, along with Dena have created projects with the theme of Embossing. You can find all blog links at the end of this post, so be sure to hop around for more Stampin' Up! card ideas and inspirations

My triple embossed project features 2 different embossing techniques; Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and the In Color 2018-2020 Stampin' Emboss Powder

The background was embossed in Pinewood Planks DTIEF and the Pear Pizzazz band in Corrugated DTIEF. These embossing folders are thicker than normal which gives the additional detail on the card. Remember to only use 1 cutting plate on top when running through the Big Shot

I have also used a current favourite from the Autumn/Winter catalogue to showcase on my card - the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies. I created my own stencil for the topper using scrap paper, applying Versamark through the die cut then heat embossing with the Lovely Lipstick In Color powder

As you may know there are 5 different In Colors, so naturally the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin' Emboss Powders comes with all 5 colours! I created another version of the card with Blueberry Bushel embossing

Check out the video tutorial of how I created this Blueberry Bushel embossed card
