Star of Bethlehem for Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's the first Thursday of the month which means I am hopping with the rest of the Creating Kindness Design Team with our Special Guest Liz Holloway

The theme for our hop is Seasonal Florals and I decided to create the Star of Bethlehem flower after searching different winter flowers on Google. I used Nature's Root Framelits Dies to create the flower like I have done before to create poinsettias. I also designed a pop up lidded gift box for the flower to sit on

The gift box is simply decorated with Subtle embossed cardstock as I wanted the flower to stand out. The surprise factor comes from when the Pear Pizzazz ribbons are pulled up and the lid pop up with the Star of Bethlehem flower still in tact

The gift box measures 2" x 2" x 2" and is great for small presents for someone special this Christmas or any occasions! Check out the video tutorial of how I created this Pop Up Flower Lid Gift Box and you too can make it
