Oh, how I am still loving the new additions to our colour families. They were the inspiration for this card using the beautiful Rooted in Nature stamp set. I love how vibrant all the colours look together and my class attendees certainly had fun making this card.

For this super simple but utterly stunning card, I've masked off a section of the card and using the sponge brayer's, layered the colour to create a brilliant block of colour and then added a splatter of water and dabbed it off with a paper towel to create a little more texture.

We then used my prized possession, my stamparatus to add the tree and sentiment. Perfect positioning every time!

I love the overall effect once the faceted dots complete the project. Voila!

We hope this amazing and gorgeous project from Sara has helped inspired you to recreate your own projects like this and have a play with some fun techniques.

Below you'll find links to all the products used on this project for quick and easy shopping or you can order any current Stampin' Up!® products and craft supplies with Mitosu Crafts via our UK Online Shop 24/7.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop ~ Technique

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping for the Creating Kindness blog hop. The design team and our special Guest Designer Carolina Evans, are sharing all kinds of different techniques to inspire you

One of my favourite technique at the moment is creating an ombre effect with sponge brayers. I teamed this technique with the exclusive early release of the Share What You Love Bundle and this is what I came up with

Products used on this simple card idea can be found on the Gotta Have It All Bundle until the end of May, then will be available individually in June when the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue goes live

I embossed the Lovely Floral Dynamic TIEF on Very Vanilla card then sponge brayed the new In Color Grapefruit Grove with Rich Razzleberry

I stamped the flower cluster in Grapefruit Grove to add more interest on the background then stamped the topper with a sentiment from Love What You Do set and the flower design from Make A Difference set

I added the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon and Pearlised Thread (from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit) on the card with Tear & Tape before adhering the topper on the card. Finishing off with the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls

Check out the video demonstration of how I created this easy card idea with the ombre technique

The other design team members have also created video tutorials for you to enjoy. Click on one of the links below to be taken to YouTube. You can then continue along our video hop by checking the video description which contains the same links below:

I also created a stepped-up version with the same ombre background using other products from the Gotta Have It All Bundle

For this card idea, I wanted to showcase the debossed image of the Lovely Floral design. I also used the back of the Velvet Ribbon to have a better contrast against the Rich Razzleberry background

I added a small bit of the Pearlised Doily and did a bit of fussy cutting with the main sentiment. The 'With Love' stamp is from Make A Difference set

Finished off with a 4 loop bow using the Tranquil Tide Thread from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit

Make a wishlist of other Stampin' Up! products as you hop along each Design Team's blog or video. Don't forget to come back and order your SU craft supplies from Mitosu Crafts UK Online Shop or with your local Creating Kindness Design Team

Come back again soon when I will be sharing another technique with the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. Thanks again for hopping along with the Creating Kindness Design Team. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
