Home To Roost Note Cards

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts, thank you for stopping by.

We have our cardmaking class at Hobbycraft in Basingstoke this morning and we will be making a version of the Tuxedo Fancy Fold Card as shown on our previous post HERE. So onto today's quick creative share which were actually our customer Thank You cards using the FREE Sale-A-Bration Home To Roost stamp set

We used our previous Home To Roost project HERE to inspire the design on these note cards. The Stamparatus is always a useful tool when stamping a number of designs. This stamping tool was a great help stamping the sentiment in the same place on the bottom right of the note cards. The Stamparatus also gives you the added bonus of the Hinge Step Technique which we made use on the Crumb Cake coloured reeds on the background.

The toppers were die cut first with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and we used the Stamparatus again for stamping. The rooster was stamped in Tuxedo Memento and coloured with the following Stampin' Blends: Dark Bermuda Bay, Dark Night of Navy, Dark Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Combo. Other colours used were Dark Smoky Slate for the shadow and Ivory for the ground.

The Wood Textures DSP were punched with the 1/2" Circle. Then we added the Old Olive Linen Thread bow on the bottom circle to finish the notecards
