By The Bay FREE Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set - Quick Card Idea

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts. It's Jay here with a quick and easy card idea using the FREE Sale-A-Bration Cling Mount stamp set By The Bay

I wanted to add colour to the design quickly without being too precise so I decided to use the sponging and masking technique

Creating a night scene with this beautiful design makes it forgiving if you make a mistake. You can go straight onto your project with the inked sponge for added texture and still create something wonderful

For the mask, I stamped on a sticky note and fussy cut with the snips. Ensure you cut off the lines so your project image won't have a halo once you finished sponging unless of course you like that look :)

This card idea is easy to recreate once you have a mask so it's ideal for quick cards and beginners. Check out the video tutorial below to see the process of creating this card

Colouring Blended Seasons for Paper Craft Crew Challenge #PCC299

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here with my DT card for the Paper Craft Crew Colour Challenge #PCC299

I decided to colour the flowers from the new Blended Seasons Stamp Set with a mix of colouring mediums including the new Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 by Stampin' Up!

The colours I used were Lemon Lime Twist, Lovely Lipstick, Crushed Curry and Blueberry Bushel. I stamped on normal Whisper White and did a quick wash with the ink pads using an Aqua Painter

I used the watercolour pencils for the finer details of the leaves as well as alcohol markers, Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends to add more shadows

I stamped on a copy paper and made my own mask so I can sponge the background in Blueberry Bushel

I stamped the sentiment then added the strip of Lemon Lime Twist card, Black Solid Baker's Twine and gold glimmer flourish die cut from the Stitched Seasons Framelits

I am also entering this card to the following challenges|:

Global Design Project #GDP147 ~ Theme Challenge

Papercraft Business Challenge #8 ~ Anything Goes

Craft Stamper Take It Make It Challenge July ~ Anything Goes

Stamping Sensations July ~ In My Garden

I hope you are inspired with my project for our Colour Challenge #PCC299. You can check out the other Design Team's creative inspirations back at the Paper Craft Crew challenge blog and play along by submitting your own handmade creation
