Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It's Jay here with a card idea for the Global Design Project challenge #GDP160. It's CASE The Designer this week at GDP and I took inspiration from Krista Frattin's fabulous card below
Krista used the Rooted In Nature Stamp set and matching Nature's Root Framelits, so I opted for another tree image from Lovely As A Tree stamp set
Most of the cardstock I used for this project are off cuts, the Sahara Sand stitched ended up being hidden behind the stamped leaves as it's not a full square! The stitching on the main tree topper was customised to fit the tree using the same square stitched die creating a slightly rectangular topper
I stamped the tree in Early Espresso then filled an Aqua Painter with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) to colour the rest in Shaded Spruce. I also did this for the background, stamping the leaves in Granny Apple Green then diluting Balmy Blue with a bit more alcohol for a lighter shade
The sentiment comes from All Things Thanks, stamped in Tuxedo Memento and punched with the Classic Label Punch then snipped both ends. This was adhered on top of the Ribbon Border punched Sahara Sand cardstrip
I punched a hole in the Garden Green strip to be able to tie a bow using the Mint Macaron Nature's Twine then stuck the sentiment with dimensionals
