Playful Backgrounds & Tabs For Everything for a Simple and Quick Card #stampinup #GDP094

Hi Everyone

It's Jay here, thanks for stopping by today. I needed a quick card that my mum asked me to make for her 2 weeks ago....ooops! Luckily I checked the Global Design Project challenge this week and took the sketch below for #GDP094, to inspire my card I am sharing today.

Here is the card I made using Playful Backgrounds and the NEW Tabs for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Large Number Framelits Dies which I am entering to the above challenge:

As you can see, it is very simple to do and for a male card, I think it is fine.

I used the Marker to Stamp technique to colour the horizontal lines individually ~ don't forget to huff on your stamp when you do this :)
Colours used: Night of Navy, Old Olive, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay

I stamped the crown in Basic Black Archival and coloured with Soft Sky and Marina Mist Markers. The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point and stars in Lemon Lime Twist

What do you think, too simple or just right? I was going to add embellishments or some sponging but for this occasion, I had to stop myself. Hopefully my mum will like this too.
