Hi All
I wanted to share what I made with the topper I posted on Facebook using the Flower Patch stamps set and the Flower Fair framelits dies. The topper came about after seeing Anna Marie's demo at Ally Pally and I wanted to put my stampin' spin on it using only Stampin' Up! products.
It's an A6 card and thanks to Queen Pip for the mat & layer's dimensions which I used for this (14.9cm x 10cm & 14.4cm x 9.5cm).
I stamped the flowers and leaves using the 2014-2016 In Colours Stampin' Pads and die cut with our Big Shot. I moulded the flowers using a piercing tool & mat before arranging the smaller flowers on top of the largest flower with glue.
Tip: snip up to the stamped image of the centre flower to help shape it better.
I also used a bit of gauze to add a bit of texture. I'm sure everyone's got some in their first aid kit at home - ours permanently lives in our flower making box! If not, use a bit of baker's twine tied in a knot or a bow.
For the mat, I used our brayer to colour coordinate with the flowers; so if you don't have matching card stock, use ink pads with daubers or sponges, or write markers to colour the edges. I've only used our brayer twice and it's good that the middle is hidden. I will be practising using our brayer by making more mats like this :)
For the layer, I stamped the sentiment before embossing the card with the trellis embossing folder (which came with the Big Shot Starter Kit). I used dimensional pads to mat & layer, then used glue to stick the topper.
I was also cutting around the flower die cuts and made a butterfly! I'm sure most will have a butterfly punch or a die already but I wanted to see what else I could do with what I had and quite pleased with the result.
I am also entering the card to the following challenges:
Thanks for looking
