Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK and thanks for stopping by. It's Jay Soriano here with the Creating Kindness blog hop. Our Special Guest Designer this month is the talented Anna Krol of Anna' Stampin' Cave
The theme for this hop is Teamwork which the Design Team and Anna have interpreted in different ways. You can find all blog links at the end of this post, so be sure to hop around for more Stampin' Up! card ideas and inspirations
I wanted to highlight teamwork with Stampin' Up! product co-ordination. I used Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Layers thinlits dies for my projects. Embossing folders and layering framelits are a must-have to a crafter's stash too as they add interest and works well with any products
Being a demo support to Barry, we have to work well together. It's great we found papercraft as a hobby together so we pretty much spend our spare time crafting! We ask each other's opinions and help each other. Although, sometimes discussions can get heated which is why Barry suggested the 'Just Breathe' sentiment
There's a couple of elements on this card that might be hard to notice on the photos. I spritzed Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol on the Whisper White card layer before embossing with the Basket Weave design. I also embossed the Soft Suede leaf and Garden Green leaf with the Subtle DTIEF after die cutting to add more texture
My 2nd project today is a perfect example of our teamwork. I had a sock box that I wanted to replicate and ended up creating a Take Your Pick Tool case after discussing the idea with Barry. For the original prototype, I created the tray and Barry did the wrap
To tie it in with the 1st project, I used another sentiment from Colorful Seasons stamp set, mimic the layout of the leaves and circle stitched frame then decorated with the Share What You Love Specialty DSP
