Stampin' With Watercolour Wings

Hi All

Hope you had a lovely weekend. Here's a card I made for a friend last week using the Watercolour Wings.

This was my first card using this stamp set but I see myself using this a lot in future projects. The butterflies comes in 2 different sizes and with the 2 stamp technique, you can create a lot of different butterflies.

After stamping the butterfly, I wrapped the gold thread around my fingers 3 times, pinched in the middle before adhering with tombow.

I cut the medium sized butterfly die in vellum and coloured the edges with Daffodil Delight and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers. I curled the wings and stuck on top of the gold thread.

I stamped the dotted image and used it to guide where I put the sentiment, which is from the Butterfly Basics set.

For the mat, I sponged the edges of a white cardstock with Elegant Eggplant to coordinate with the Butterfly.

You can check out all of the Stampin' Up! products I have used below which can be purchased from our online shop.

I am also entering this card to the following challenges:

Thanks for looking.
