Hi Everyone
It's a Colour Challenge at Global Design Project #GDP081 which means the selected winner will come back to be a Guest Designer. It's been a busy day preparing for OnStage Live but I wanted to participate this week.
We have to use the above colours and I was doing my swaps at the time so I changed it up a little to fit the brief.
Here are my projects using heat & partial embossing, craft white refill with different colours as my Free Choice using the Watercolour Pencils
~UPDATE~
Here is how I achieved these swaps:
Stamp the sentiment with Versamark and heat emboss in gold
Stamp the flowers' outlines in Night of Navy, Melon Mambo or Memento Black
Stamp the matching inside stamps in Craft White
Dry emboss the largest Stitched Oval Framelit (I made my own platform by tracing the die on 3 thick cardboards and cut off the areas I didn't want to emboss)
Use matching Watercolour Pencils to add the shadows on the flowers
Use a paintbrush to add highlights with the Craft White Ink Refill
I added our business card at the back of each swap and wanted the staples to be part of the design
Gold Embossed with Pacific Point
White Embossed with Pacific Point
Gold embossed with Melon Mambo
White embossed with Bermuda Bay
Gold embossed with Bermuda Bay
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my projects. I will update the post when I come back form Amsterdam to let you know how I achieved these using Stampin' Up! products. It's so exciting and I need to be up in a few hours!
Until next time, BYEEEEE

ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic Jay, great use of that stamp from the succulents too. I love this technique for adding colour to a dark background :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the stapled focal.. Adds just a little more interest, not that they needed it !
